It depends on what's going on there. There is a large surface lot at Preston & Witherspoon. Also a couple of parking garages in the direct vicinity. Depending on what time you're getting to a crowded event, there is plenty of off street parking and nominal charge private parking downtown that will require a short but manageable walk to the Great Lawn and areas nearby.
